Catalog Party

Hey Out of the Pits supporters, we're having a party. A catalog party that is!!! From August 27th thru September 10th, Jennie Hible, a consultant for Thirty One, will be donating 10% of all her sales indicating Out of the Pits as the charity of choice.

Thirty One offers excellent, affordable, fashionable products such as purses and wallets to baskets and kids stuff. Why don't you start your early Christmas shopping this Friday (continues through the next two weeks) and support Out of the Pits programs and rescue dogs at the same time.

Raise the roof for RESCUE!!

Fund raiser and Adoption Clinic at Hooked on Dogs,

54 Elizabeth St, Red Hook NY 12571.

During this week, Hooked On Dogs will contribute 10% of their revenues to Out of the Pits. They will feature Out of the Pits in their store and give customers the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all the dogs we have available for adoption. At the conclusion of the week, Hooked On Dogs will host Out of the Pits in their store for an Adoption Day (Saturday September 11 from 11am-2pm), where Out of the Pits volunteers and representatives will be available to answer questions and adoptable dogs will be present to steal your heart.

Join us and our dogs at the MEET AND GREET event to be held at PETSMART of Glenmont. Our dogs and puppies in need of homes will be on hand to greet you and families who have already adopted will be on hand to share their experiences. We will also have Out of the Pits' merchandise available for sale (T-Shirts, Sweats, Daisy Dog Porcelain dog bowls, mouse pads etc.).

Please Join us and our dogs at the MEET AND GREET event to be held at
PET SUPPLIES PLUS of Western Ave, Albany NY.

Our dogs and puppies in need of homes will be on hand to greet you and families who have already adopted will be on hand to share their experiences.

We will also have Out of the Pits' merchandise available for sale (T-Shirts, Sweats, Daisy Dog Porcelain dog bowls, mouse pads etc.).

Animal Adoption Day at the Albany JCC

Out of the Pits will be joining several other animal rescue groups, dog trainers, groomers, and pet supply retailers for the Albany JCC's 1st annual Animal Adoption Day.

All of our dogs looking for their forever homes will be there, along with all our fundraising merchandise. The Albany Jewish Community Center is located at 340 Whitehall Rd, Albany NY 12208. We're hoping for a big crowd at this exciting first time event, please join us in the fun!!

Third Annual Fall Tag Sale

We are having our third annual fall tag sale at the Troy Veterinary Hospital at 840 Hoosic Rd, Troy NY 12180. Tons of merchandise will be available at bargain prices.

If you have any new or gently used items that you would like to donate to our sale, please e-mail donations@outofthepits.org to make arrangements with Tammy. Donations may also be dropped off at the Troy Vet Hosp on the morning of the sale. We'll be having a bake sale too, so stop by on your way to Vermont for that fall foliage ride and get some goodies, and shop for a great deal, all while helping out our rescue dogs.

Halloween Special Event

We will be celebrating Halloween October 30th with Rottie Empire Rescue at the Clifton Park Bensons located at 12 Fire Rd, Clifton Park NY.

You'll have a howling good time with us today, as we will have a costume contest with great prizes. The categories as follows: Best original costume - big and little dog, Funniest costume - big and little dog, and Scariest costume - big and little dog. Big dogs are over 40lbs for the contest!! We'll have a bake sale, fun games for you and your dog, a raffle with terrific prizes, $5 Halloween harvest photos of your dog (and you, if you'd like) Not only all of this, but awesome American Pitbull Terriers and Rottweilers will be available for adoption.

We guarantee a fun time for all.
