On the following few pages, you will find pictures and brief descriptions of some of the great dogs we have ready for adoption. Before we can place a dog in a new home– maybe yours– we ask that you complete our online preadoption application form. This form helps us to help our dogs and smooths and speeds the adoption process for you. Please be as complete as possible in answering all the questions. Thanks.



Nancy
BREED: Pit Bull Terrier
SEX: Female 		AGE:5 months
WEIGHT: 35#

This lovely puppy was one of four babies stolen from a shelter and kept in a suitcase for several days with a significant decrease in oxygen. As a result she suffers from cataplexy but is now receiving medication for the disorder and responding well. This brave little girl loves people, and she plays every day with dogs of all sizes. Christina of "Help Orphan Puppies" who is currently caring for her, describes Nancy as a "dream puppy". Zeus
BREED: American Pit Bull Terrier
SEX: Male 		AGE:6 years
WEIGHT: 65#

This spectacular dog was abandoned at a boarding kennel by his owner and he lingered there for several years enduring isolation, weight loss and kennel sores until Out of the Pits became aware of his plight. Zeus is now a huge favorite at the Hernas Veterinary Clinic where he is recovering and on his way to becoming a magnificent specimen of his breed.



Charlotte
BREED: Pit Bull Terriers
SEX: Female 		AGE: 1 year
WEIGHT: 45#

Now that all of her babies have been adopted, it's time for this beautiful mommy to find a home of her own. Charlotte came to us pitifully thin, but still managed to be a great mommy in spite of starvation and neglect.
